Why are they powerful??? Why are Muslims powerless???

Here's another reason. We have lost the capacity to produce knowledge.
o In the entire Muslim World (57 Muslim Countries) there are only 500 universities.
o In USA alone, 5,758 universities
o In India alone, 8,407 universities
o Not one university in the entire Islamic World features in the Top 500 Ranking Universities of the World
o Literacy in the Christian World 90%
o Literacy in the Muslim World 40%
o 15 Christian majority-countries, literacy rate 100%
o Muslim majority - countries , None
o 98% in Christian countries completed primary
o Only 50% in Muslim countries completed primary.
o 40% in Christian countries attended university
o In Muslim countries a dismal 2% attended.
o Muslim majority countries have 230 scientists per one million Muslims
o The USA has 5000 per million
o Entire Arab World only 50 technicians per million.
o The Christian world 1000 technicians per million.
o Muslim World spends on research/development 0.2% of GDP
o Christian World spends 5 % of GDP

Conclusion:
o The Muslim World lacks the capacity to produce knowledge

Another way of testing the degree of knowledge is the degree of diffusing knowledge.
o Pakistan 23 daily newspapers per 1000 citizens
o Singapore 460 per 1000 citizens
o In UK book titles per million is 2000
o In Egypt book titles per million is only 17

Conclusion:
o Muslim World is failing to diffuse knowledge

Applying Knowledge is another such test.
o Exports of high tech products from Pakistan is 0.9% of its exports
o In Saudi Arabia is 0.2%
o Kuwait , Morocco and Algeria 0.3%
o Singapore alone is 68%

Conclusion:
o Muslim World is failing to apply knowledge

What do you conclude?
~~No needs to tell. The figures are speaking themselves very loudly. We are unable to listen.

Advice:
Please educate yourself and your children. Always promote education, don't compromise on it, don't ignore your children's slightest misguidance from education We are the world's biggest and strongest nation, all we need is to identify and explore our own selves.
Our victory is with our knowledge, our creativity, our literacy...
....Wake up...
It's not too late!!!

""Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same"".

I love this sentence. Ermm…This is exactly right as the author tried to tell us. When we came to other people life, we will leave them lots of memories. To let them missed us and always think about the sweet/bad moment we were had. Errmm…I do.

I got this word from the book recently I read. The book title is “Chicken soup for the Teenage Soul”. Hehehe…It sound funny because I not teenager anymore. I’m 24 years old right now but it’s doesn’t matter. I have touched this book once. At that time, I’m in form four, form five I’m not sure. But I see my friend read this book and I not interested to know or read this book. For that, it’s better if I finished my add math or math mod. Actually, I not good in these both subject and I always scolded by my teachers. I need to attend intensive classes for these subject and also others science subject. Hahaha…

Okay...back to the main point. This book I borrowed from my housemate and started read it last night. Honestly I told you that my bad habit is before I go to sleep I must read book but in the dark. Not too dark, I just opened the door and let some light in. I remember I had caught by my teacher, she also my dorm’s master because I’m studying in the dark. Because of that, she’s lectures me and bla…bla…bla… one word I remember is “nanti bertambah tebal lah spect mata awak, Sueanne”. She asked me to study at front door. Actually, at hostel the light off at 1100 pm. So some students who want make revision they will stay at front door and study there. Pity us. Prep time is not enough. Hahaha…

“Chicken soup for the Teenage Soul”. This book contents lot of story from love story, relationships, friendships, life and everything. But, the main factor that brings me to read this book is the language, the word they use. It very easy to understand and I use it to correct and improve my English. It is good for me. It is really helpful. And because I am quit busy, I use lot time to finish it. I am just read for page 34 since last night. Hahaha… Slow like siput…

I admitted that before this I can finish my reading in just one night. That is true. I’m obsessed with love story, malays novel but since I read Ramlee Awang Mursyid’s novel (started in matriculation), my passion to this genre decreased. It is good for me. I’m back to the real world but I am entered to the other world. Hahaha… I suggest you guys; try to read this Ramlee Awang Mursyid’s novel. And you will know how thriller is he.

Okay… I stop here. I am just want to let you all know that I started read this book. “Chicken soup for the teenage soul” and I’ trying to finish it as fast as I can. Hehehe… Just want to bring back my teenage soul.

Boycott product from Israel. Hanya dengan cari ini kita sudah mampu untuk melemahkan ekonomi mereka secara sedikit demi sedikit.

::Confusion and I::

Alhamdulillah….Finally, I have settle and submit the application to further my study (MSc. Engineering Geology). Hopefully, I will stand with the decision that I made till the end. Hehe..I know that, I am easily to change mind at anytime. I am not good decision maker and I cannot stand with that…Bad me.

By the way, I have 5 months left to think about this. To continues my study or working? I am not sure yet. Just like my friend said yesterday, “Sue, you have 5 months to think this. If, in this period you did not have any job offer, you should further your study. It is good for you”. Errmm..I am still doubt with it…Please Allah…Help me. Give me your strongest. Give your Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim. I am really, really need your guidance. Please show me the ways. Ameen.

Yesterday, I am going to Geology Department to see my lecturers and try to get them as my references for master’s application form. Unfortunately, I am just doing masters by coursework. Actually, I put my hope to doing masters in research but my lecturer does not have any project to support my research. If I really want to do my own research, I need to use my own money. And honestly, I do not have any money. Too bad... Pity me.

Sometimes, I always think that people around me (others faculty student) very lucky, they have chance to do their research because their lecturers have lot of project and budget to support them. I am very jealous to them. But, it is okay. May be it not my time and may be Allah have a good plan to me. That is why He tests me. He just wants to know how much, how longer, I can stand with His tests. I am grateful with that and I hope He will give me something that really, really meaningful to me. Thank You Allah. Only He knew it. And I am prayed for it. InsyaAllah.

So, for this moment I just continue my contract as a research assistant until July. Then, if I am lucky, if I got offer to further study, I just go on with it. I am just can prays for it. And only Allah can help me. I let it to Him.

Actually, I still confuse with course that I applied. Either MSc. Engineering Geology or MSc. Engineering and Environment Geophysics are both good programme. If I take Engineering geology it is good for me because I am major in Engineering Geology during my first degree. It is an advantage for me and helps me score in this subject but if I take course Geophysics it is quite difficult for me because my result for this subject is not good enough. So, I need to work harder to make it better. For both programme has potential in industry, either oil and gas or construction industry.

Last but not least, I hope I can do better than before. I need to redeem back my mistakes that I have done. I prayed for my success and I knew that Allah will protect me. He knows everything. InsyaAllah..Ameen.

My journey is still longer and I should face it by myself. Nobody can help me. Only I can help myself. I must be stronger, stronger, and stronger. And also brave. I hope so.

Masters Vs Working..
